According to the updated rules, Elite and Elite Plus passengers flying Economy Class on routes with a baggage allowance are now entitled to carry two pieces of baggage, provided their combined weight does not exceed 46 kg. However, one piece can weigh up to 27 kg—that is, 4 kg more than the standard 23 kg limit. The second piece will then weigh no more than 19 kg, as the difference is deducted from the total allowance.
Previously, passengers were limited to a standard 23 kg per piece of baggage, with no option to redistribute the weight between suitcases. This change allows for more flexible baggage distribution without incurring excess baggage charges.
