Irish mixed martial artist Conor McGregor announced that he is in talks with UFC management about his next fight. He said his return could take place at a White House event or at one of the promotion's upcoming events. The tentative date is this summer.
The 37-year-old athlete has not competed in MMA since July 2021. His last fight was at UFC 264 against American Dustin Poirier, in which McGregor suffered a technical knockout loss in the first round due to a leg injury.
The Irishman's professional record includes 22 wins and six losses. He previously held UFC titles in two weight classes: featherweight (up to 66 kg) and lightweight (up to 70 kg).
