These meetings are taking place as part of active preparations for the upcoming March 29 elections of members of the Halk Maslahaty in the newly formed etraps of the country's velayats, as well as to replace the early resignations of deputies of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, members of the velayat, etrap, and city Halk Maslahaty and Gengeshes, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.

During an engaging discussion about the country's future development, the candidates answer numerous questions from voters, fleshing out the provisions of their election platforms.
All registered candidates are granted equal rights and opportunities to organize meetings with voters in accordance with national electoral legislation and international law.
