Turkmenistan will prepare a strategy for the development of scientific and medical diplomacy until 2052

At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on February 27, Deputy Prime Minister B. Mammedov reported on the country's ongoing work to develop scientific and medical diplomacy.

As noted, positive experience accumulated in such areas as human health protection, the construction of scientific and clinical centers, hospitals, sanatoriums, and pharmaceutical enterprises that meet the requirements of the international standards of the World Health Organization, the development of medical science, and the strengthening of international cooperation are being implemented. All of this contributes to further improvements in public health, the development of global scientific and medical diplomacy based on best practices in this area, and the enhancement of the country's international standing.

In this regard, the Deputy Prime Minister submitted a corresponding proposal to the President of Turkmenistan for consideration.

Emphasizing that the country is taking effective and comprehensive measures to develop medical science and expand international cooperation in this area, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to conduct the relevant work to prepare a National Strategy for the Development of Scientific and Medical Diplomacy in Turkmenistan for 2026–2052, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
