Currently, the Main State Service "Türkmenstandartlary" ("Turkmen Standards") is implementing measures to carry out high-quality work on standardization and certification, as well as to gradually carry out international accreditation of experimental laboratories.

Deputy Prime Minister H. Geldimyradov reported this at a government meeting, also speaking about cooperation with leading foreign accreditation organizations under existing bilateral agreements.

In this regard, a corresponding proposal was submitted to the President of Turkmenistan for consideration.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, emphasizing the need for continuous improvement of the Main State Service "Türkmenstandartlary," approved the proposal and addressed a number of instructions to the Deputy Prime Minister on this matter, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
