Samsung held an Unpacked presentation, unveiling the Galaxy S26 series of smartphones and two new earbuds.
The smartphones were released in three versions: the S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra. The base models feature 6.3- and 6.7-inch screens, respectively, 12 GB of RAM, and 4300 and 4900 mAh batteries. In the US, both are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor, while in Europe, they feature the Exynos 2600. The S26 and S26+ feature identical cameras: a 50 MP main camera, a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 10 MP telephoto lens with 3x zoom.
The S26 Ultra boasts a more powerful camera system—a 200MP main lens, two 50MP telephoto lenses, and a dedicated 10MP camera with 3x zoom—as well as a 5000 mAh battery with 60W fast charging. All models support AI tools: Bixby, Gemini, and Perplexity, the latter of which is built into several system apps. Pricing: S26 starts at 900 USD, S26+ at 1100 USD, S26 Ultra at 1300 USD.
The Galaxy Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro earbuds launched alongside the smartphones. Both models feature active noise cancellation, an adaptive equalizer, and bone conduction sensors. The Buds 4 will cost 179 USD, while the Buds 4 Pro will cost 249 USD.
