On 18 March 2026, Ashgabat will host the International Forum on Attracting Investment into the Private Sector, “Investing in the Future of Turkmenistan” (IFT 2026). The venue for the event will be the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan. The organisers, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan in with partnership TMT Consulting Group, have already opened participant registration. Foreign delegates are advised not to delay submitting applications due to visa requirements and the limited number of available places.
The Forum will cover key sectors of the national economy, including industry, logistics, agriculture, livestock breeding, and innovation. Participants will have the opportunity to present projects, hold direct negotiations, and conclude agreements in B2B, B2G and B2C formats with both Turkmen and international partners.
IFT 2026 builds on the strong foundation of the previous forum: in 2025, the event brought together more than 500 delegates from 25 countries, resulting in the signing of 21 framework agreements and the holding of 187 business meetings.
The Forum is held alongside the Exhibition of Achievements of Turkmen Private Business, which will take place from 17 to 19 March to mark the 18th anniversary of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan. The combination of the two events will enable participants to fully appreciate the investment potential of the country’s private sector.
