Following the completion of the playoff matches on February 24 and 25, 2026, the full list of teams for the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 has been determined.

Matches on February 24 (return legs)

“Atlético Madrid” defeated Club Brugge 4-1 and advanced to the next round with a 7-4 aggregate win. “Bayer Leverkusen” drew 0-0 with “Olympiacos”, allowing the German club to advance over two legs (2-0 aggregate). “Inter” lost 2-1 to “Bodø/Glimt” and were eliminated from the tournament (2-5 aggregate). “Newcastle” beat “Qarabag” 3-2 and advanced to the round of 16 (9-3 aggregate).

Matches on February 25 (return legs)

“PSG” advanced to the next round with an aggregate score of 5-4. “Galatasaray” advanced to the round of 16 with an aggregate score of 7-5. “Real Madrid” beat “Benfica” 3-1 on aggregate. “Atalanta” staged a comeback and beat “Borussia Dortmund” 4-3 on aggregate.

Eight teams qualified automatically for the round after finishing in the top eight of the league stage: “Arsenal”, “Bayern”, “Liverpool”, “Tottenham”, “Barcelona”, “Chelsea”, “Sporting”, and “Manchester City”.

The biggest shock of the round was the elimination of “Inter” Milan, last season's finalists, by Norwegian side “Bodø/Glimt”.

The draw for the Round of 16, quarter-final, and semi-final stages will take place on Friday, February 27, 2026, at 12:00 CET at UEFA headquarters in Nyon. The Round of 16 matches will be played on March 10–11 and March 17–18. The final is scheduled for May 30, 2026, at the “Puskas Aréna” in Budapest.
