Consul General O. Jumanazarov met with Rector of Medipol University Bahadır Kürşat Güntürk at the Consulate General of Turkmenistan in Istanbul.

The discussions focused on prospects for developing bilateral cooperation in higher education, science, and medicine, with particular attention paid to expanding academic ties and exchanging professional experience, according to Turkmenistan: Golden Age.

The parties exchanged views on creating favorable conditions for Turkmen students to study in Türkiye.

The Consul General emphasized that Turkmenistan places high priority on training highly qualified personnel and educating young people at reputable foreign educational centers.

Issues of expanding scholarship programs, implementing academic mobility projects for faculty and students, and intensifying joint research activities were also discussed.

The parties emphasized the importance of developing and concluding relevant agreements aimed at the systematic and long-term development of cooperation, the source noted.
