On February 23, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Turkmenistan organized a festive iftar, the traditional evening meal during the month of Ramadan.

The event was attended by the Mufti of Turkmenistan, Yalkap Hojagulyev, the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia, Amer Ali Al-Shehri, as well as heads of diplomatic missions and representatives of international organizations accredited in Ashgabat.

During the evening, guests were treated to a live broadcast of the pilgrimage to the Holy Kaaba in Mecca, which added a special spiritual atmosphere to the event.

As the fast-breaking ceremony approached, guests were served a dinner prepared in the traditional Saudi Arabian cuisine.
