The foreign ministers of Central Asian countries and the United Kingdom will hold their first CA5+1 talks on February 26 in London. The parties will discuss cooperation in financial markets, infrastructure, transport, digital services, and critical minerals, Kazinform reports.
The talks will be held within the framework of the "Central Asia Plus" diplomatic platform, which brings together Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. The United Kingdom is becoming the newest member of this format, which is already used by the United States, the European Union, Russia, China, and Japan.
"The talks are intended to serve as a catalyst for deepening the partnership and launching concrete initiatives," the statement said.
