Turkmenistan is taking a serious and constructive approach to the Trans-Caspian Gas Pipeline project, viewing it as a key element of energy security on the continent. This was stated by National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty (People's Council) Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in an interview with Al Arabiya TV.

"Turkmenistan treats this matter seriously, attentively, and constructively. At the same time, it is necessary to resolve issues of international legal nature, in particular the delimitation of the Caspian Seabed," he emphasized.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov recalled that a Turkmen-Azerbaijani working group had been established to address this issue. "We hope that its work will yield significant practical results," the National Leader added.
