Turkmenistan has published an official calendar of suhoor and iftar times for the holy month of Ramadan, 1447 AH. The schedule has been compiled separately for the capital, Ashgabat, the city of Arkadag, and all five velayats —Ahal, Balkan, Mary, Lebap, and Dashoguz.

According to the calendar, the holy month of Ramadan in 2026 will last from February 18 to March 19.

The Ramadan fast revolves around two key meals: suhoor, the morning meal before the time for Fajr prayer, and iftar, the evening meal after sunset and the time for Maghrib prayer.

Because Turkmenistan's cities and regions are located in different time zones and latitudes, suhoor and iftar times vary by location. The greatest difference in schedules is observed between the western regions of the Balkan velayat and the eastern regions of the Lebap velayat.

The holiday of Oraza Bayramy in 2026 is expected on March 20, Friday.
