Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Romania, Annamammet Annayev, met with Romanian Foreign Ministry State Secretary Ana Tinca, according to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

During the talks, the parties exchanged views on the current state and prospects for further development of Turkmen-Romanian relations. They noted the progressive development of bilateral cooperation, based on mutual respect and trust, and their interest in further strengthening political dialogue.

Particular attention was paid to cooperation in the economic and transport sectors, as well as interparliamentary contacts and consular cooperation. The parties emphasized the importance of using existing dialogue mechanisms and confirmed their readiness to further intensify them.

Issues of multilateral cooperation and Turkmenistan's international initiatives aimed at strengthening peace, security, and sustainable development were also discussed.

Following the meeting, mutual openness to further developing cooperation and continuing constructive dialogue was confirmed.
