Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov dismissed Kamchybek Tashiev, head of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS-KR) and Deputy Prime Minister, as reported by Vecherniy Bishkek.

The corresponding decree was signed by the head of state. Zhumgalbek Shabdanbekov, who previously held the position of deputy head of the State Committee for National Security, was appointed to the vacant position.

The decree does not specify the reasons for the personnel changes.
