A British tour operator will launch a luxury train on the Beijing-Tashkent route

British tour operator Golden Eagle Luxury Trains announced the launch of a new luxury rail tour program, "The Great Silk Road by Train." This was reported by the international travel publication Travel and Tour World.

The route is scheduled to last 22 days and will cover five countries: China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. The total distance is 3,862 kilometers. The journey begins in Beijing and ends in Tashkent.

The tour program is built around key historical and cultural monuments of the ancient Silk Road. In China, tourists will visit the Imperial Palace, the Great Wall of China, the Terracotta Army in Xi'an, and the Mogao Caves in Dunhuang. In Uzbekistan, the program includes Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva.

In addition to the excursion program, additional activities are planned, including a camel ride in the Gobi Desert and a flight to Almaty.

The trip starts at 50 700 USD per person based on double occupancy. The price includes accommodation, meals, excursions, transfers, and insurance. The first flight is scheduled for September 21 to October 12, 2026.
