Turkmenistan will summarize the government's performance for 2025 next week

An expanded meeting of the Turkmen government to review the results of its work for 2025 will take place next week, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov made the corresponding statement at a Cabinet meeting, addressing members of the government.

According to him, the expanded meeting will review the implementation of adopted programs and previously issued instructions, as well as a number of other issues.

The President noted that the results of the work completed in January 2026 clearly demonstrate the significant achievements of an independent, neutral country. Transformations in economic sectors continue successfully, manufacturing sectors are being consistently improved, and large-scale investments are being made in the construction of modern enterprises and the modernization of existing ones, the head of state emphasized.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted with satisfaction that GDP growth in January reached 6,3%. Effective work is being carried out in the oil and gas, trade, and transport and communications sectors, and reforms in education, science, healthcare, sports, and culture continue successfully.

The head of state also reported that construction of new industrial facilities, residential buildings, entertainment and medical centers, schools, and kindergartens is currently proceeding at a dynamic pace.

The President emphasized that much work remains to be done to further develop the country, organize planned events, and address the challenges ahead.
