A job fair was held in the capital of Turkmenistan at the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs building on Saparmurat Turkmenbashy Avenue. The newspaper "Neutral Turkmenistan" reported this.
Eighty-nine organizations, enterprises, companies, and individual entrepreneurs participated in the event, offering 3,830 vacancies. Following the fair, approximately 100 people received job placements, and 54 applicants were employed on the day of the event.
The event was organized by the Ashgabat Department of Labor and Employment, the labor and employment departments of the Bagtyyarlyk, Berkararlyk, Buzmeyin, and Kopetdag etraps of the capital, and the city committee of the Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
Employers included Petronas (13 vacancies), the Bahar garment association (19 positions), and the Awtoýoly Group holding company (approximately 40 engineering, technical, and blue-collar jobs). Jobs were also offered by the Ministry of Railway Transport, the central office of Turkmenenergo, the State Circus, and housing and utilities and healthcare companies.
Job seekers had the opportunity to view job offers at information stands in Turkmen and Russian, interact with company representatives, and participate in express interviews. A significant number of participants were young people, including high school graduates.
Job fairs are held regularly at the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
