A conference dedicated to the achievements of the “Galkynyş” Group was held in Arkadag

A gratitude conference and festive performances by the “Galkynyş” National Equestrian Games Group were held at the Aba Annayev International Horse Breeding Academy and the Gorogly State Equestrian Circus in Arkadag. The event was dedicated to the visit of National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty (People's Council), Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, to relevant institutions in the city, according to the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper.

The conference was attended by representatives of the scientific and cultural communities, heads of educational institutions, industry specialists, journalists, and students.

Participants noted that the beginning of 2026 marked a period of significant achievements for Turkmen horse breeding. The “Galkynyş” group received high certifications from reputable circus organizations worldwide.

The conference focused on the National Leader's visit to the At-myrat training center, where students study not only horse riding but also chemistry, mathematics, foreign languages, and information technology. The Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation allocated 1.5 million manats to the center for the implementation of digital educational solutions.

The “Galkynyş” Group team was awarded a prize of 3 million manat in recognition of their contribution to strengthening Turkmenistan's international image. The riders were presented with modern saddles, and the Group received a horse named Garashsyz.

Speakers emphasized the role of educational institutions in training a new generation of specialists and the significance of the Ahal-Teke horse as a symbol of national culture.

Following the conference, participants sent a message to the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, expressing gratitude for his support of national equestrian art. The event concluded with a festive musical program dedicated to Ahal-Teke horses and national traditions.
