Turkmenistan launches three-corridor highway investment project

Ojar Aziya is committed to implementing the Sarakhs-Mary-Serhetabat (SMS) highway investment project, which aims to integrate the North-South, Lapis-Lazuli, and East-West international transport corridors within Turkmenistan. The project is proposed to be implemented on a fully investment basis and does not involve the use of state budget funds.

The planned SMS highway is designed to create a direct transport link between Central Asia, the Middle East, South Asia, and European markets. Integrating the road route into the existing multimodal infrastructure will create conditions for reducing freight delivery times and optimizing logistics costs for international trade participants.

The implementation of the privately financed Serakhs–Mary–Serhetabat highway project is seen as a contribution to the development of Turkmenistan's transit potential and the expansion of the region's international transport links. The Serakhs–Mary–Serhetabat highway is positioned as a commercial infrastructure project designed for long-term operation.

Ojar Aziya confirms its openness to engaging with investors, logistics operators, and international partners interested in participating in the project. The initiative is viewed as a practical platform for developing sustainable transport solutions that meet the modern requirements of international trade and transit.
