On January 22, a meeting was held at the Ankara Chamber of Commerce and Industry between Turkmenistan's Ambassador to the Republic of Turkey Mekan Ishangulyev and the Chairman of the Ankara Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Gürsel Baran, the Turkmen diplomatic mission in Ankara reported to Turkmenportal.
The parties discussed the development of bilateral trade and economic cooperation. Particular attention was paid to cooperation in the energy, transport and logistics, agricultural, construction, and food industries.
During the meeting, issues of establishing sustainable contacts between the business structures of the two countries and prospects for participation in the implementation of joint investment projects were discussed.
The meeting participants put forward proposals to enhance cooperation between small and medium-sized businesses in Turkmenistan and Türkiye. These included the participation of entrepreneurs in exhibitions and forums, as well as the attraction of mutually beneficial investments.
