In honor of the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence, the Oguzhan “Türkmenfilm” Association plans to hold a series of events and celebrations in cultural centers in the capital and regions, including conferences and a week of films shot during the years of independence.

Deputy Prime Minister B. Seidova reported this at a Government meeting, while outlining the procedure for holding the main events in February.

As reported, in the coming month, it is planned to organize conferences, creative meetings, briefings, exhibitions, educational and musical events in honor of the 2026 motto "Independent Neutral Turkmenistan - the homeland of purposeful winged stallions" and the Day of the Diplomatic Worker of Turkmenistan.

In addition, a concert of melodies from Turkmen films performed by the State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan, as well as a number of other events, is planned for February at the Palace of Mukams of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan.

In this regard, the Deputy Prime Minister submitted a corresponding proposal for the head of state's consideration, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.

In the year of "Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses," President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that numerous celebrations are planned in the country, instructing the Deputy Prime Minister to ensure that the February events are held at a high level.
