National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with Sergio Gore, Special Presidential Envoy for South and Central Asia of the United States of America, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reported.
Expressing gratitude for the opportunity to meet, the American diplomat noted the consistent development of cooperation between the United States and Turkmenistan and expressed confidence that the meeting with the President of Turkmenistan will give additional impetus to advancing the partnership.
Sergio Gore also emphasized that the architectural appearance of Turkmenistan's white-marble capital left a favorable impression on him.

In this regard, the significance of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov's visit to Washington last November to participate in the Central Asia-United States of America summit was noted.
During the meeting, the successful development of relations between Turkmenistan and the United States, encompassing political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres, was noted with satisfaction.
