Sheremetyevo and Vnukovo have submitted bids to participate in the auction for the sale of Domodedovo

Moscow's Sheremetyevo and Vnukovo airports have submitted bids to participate in the auction for Domodedovo Airport, which will take place on January 29, 2026, vc.ru reports.

The sale was originally scheduled for January 20, but the auction failed to take place because the only bidder was disqualified. Subsequently, the organizer of the sale, PSB Bank, scheduled a repeat auction, which will be held under the Dutch system with lower bids.

The starting price for the lot is 132.2 billion rubles. During the auction, it may be reduced by up to 50% of the starting price in 10% increments. If multiple bidders confirm the same price, an additional auction will be held to increase the price in 5% increments.

Applications for participation have been accepted since January 22. Sheremetyevo submitted its application on the same day, noting in its press service that the project is extremely complex and requires significant investment. The second application was submitted by Vnukovo co-owner Vitaly Vantsev, who had previously expressed interest in acquiring Domodedovo in the summer of 2025.
