Deputy Prime Minister B. Amanov reported on the measures being taken to modernize the infrastructure of the Turkmenbashy oil processing complex of the State Concern "Türkmennebit" at a meeting of the Government of Turkmenistan.

As he noted, the Kenar Oil Storage and Loading Facility functions as a key structural link of the TOPC for the reception, storage, and shipment of petroleum products to consumers via rail and air routes.

Significant modernization of the facility will optimize the receipt, storage, and shipment of refined petroleum products for subsequent transportation, as well as significantly increase the country's transport and logistics potential.

A corresponding proposal was submitted to the head of state for consideration.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the effective development of the oil refining industry in line with the realities of the times, which, among other things, helps maintain the reliability of petroleum product supplies to consumers. Having approved the proposal to modernize the Turkmenbashy oil processing complex of the “Türkmennebit” State Concern, the head of state ordered the necessary measures to be taken, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
