Turkmen oil workers ensure uninterrupted operation of wells at large fields

Maintenance crews from the Nebitgazdüýpliabatlaýyş Capital Repair Department, part of the “Turkmennebit” State Concern, are maintaining the uninterrupted operation of oil wells at the country's largest fields, according to the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper.

Specialists perform underground and major well repairs at major oil and gas fields such as Goturdepe, Barsagelmez, and Gamyshlyja. These fields supply the country's fuel and energy sector with hundreds of thousands of tons of oil and similar volumes of gas daily.

Modern equipment is used during repair work, including the J-650 hoisting unit with a lifting capacity of 80 to 120 tons. The use of flexible tubing significantly reduces repair time and increases well throughput. The units also clean out sediment and flush out sand plugs in the wellbore.

As the publication notes, the Nebitgazdüýpliabatlaýyş Trust's Flexible Tubing Well Workover Department plays a key role in maintaining production. The department's head, Abdylla Bayrammamedov, was awarded the Turkmenistan Jubilee Medal "For the 30th Anniversary of Turkmenistan's Neutrality" for his contribution to ensuring efficient hydrocarbon production.
