Athletes from the Kämil motorsports club from Turkmenistan took part in the international stage of the China Motocross Championship (CMX), which took place in December at the Hub Port Industrial Park in the Jiangjin District of Chongqing, according to the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper.
Serdar Mollamuradov and Begench Annaev competed in the gasoline class (250 cc). They competed against leading factory teams from global manufacturers QJMotor, CFMoto, and KAYO.
Konstantin Fedorychev and Karen Avagyan represented the club in electric motorcycle racing. The Jiangjin track features a hard surface and high-speed sections, requiring a high level of skill for both the equipment and the riders.
The team in China was coordinated by the club's director, Master of Sports of Turkmenistan Shamyrat Gurbanov. His track record includes participation in the 2015 Dakar Rally and the international Silk Way Rally.
According to Gurbanov, the competition in Chongqing provided the team with valuable experience in preparation for their new competition in 2026. Kämil's pilots will also participate in open championships in neighboring countries.
