A meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission on Caspian Sea Issues was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the ministry's press service reported.
The meeting was attended by deputy chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers and heads and representatives of relevant government agencies.
The meeting participants heard a report on the commission's work for 2024 and approved an action plan for 2026. Particular attention was paid to the tasks to be accomplished in the first half of this year.
For many years, Turkmenistan has been actively pursuing balanced solutions to Caspian issues and plays a key role in developing the legal framework for cooperation in the Caspian Sea. This process continues within the framework of international law, jointly with all Caspian littoral states, the department noted.
