A presentation of a collection of poems by the Turkmen classic poet Magtymguly Fragi, translated into Romanian, was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The event was attended by the leadership and staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, heads of diplomatic missions and representative offices of international organizations accredited in the country, heads of Turkmen foreign missions, faculty and students of the institute, as well as journalists.

Welcoming remarks were given by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Mahri Bashimova, Ambassador of Romania to Turkmenistan Ion Navala, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Romania Annamammet Annayev, Rector of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Gulshat Yusupova, and other participants in the presentation.

The speakers noted that the work of the great Turkmen poet continues to generate great interest worldwide centuries later. The publication of Magtymguly Pyragy's works in various languages demonstrates their relevance and significance today. The classic poet's poetry extols patriotism, peace, humanism, friendship, and mutual respect among peoples.

Participants at the presentation expressed confidence that the publication of the collection will strengthen cultural and humanitarian ties between Turkmenistan and Romania, and will also contribute to the popularization of the cultural heritage and national art of the Turkmen people.
