American Councils is accepting applications for the Prep4Success teacher professional development program, designed for educators throughout Turkmenistan.

The program will be held in person in Ashgabat and at American Corners in Dashoguz, Mary, and Turkmenabat.

Participants from the Balkan velayyat will be able to join the Ashgabat group online.

Over the course of six months, participants will study a carefully designed program covering key topic areas, including best practices in test preparation, academic reading and writing, and public speaking.

Participants will also learn skills such as using data analysis to assess student performance, providing clear instructions, using interactive and communicative methods in the classroom, and creating an environment that promotes student-centered learning.

The application deadline is February 1, 2026, at 17:00.
