Maksatmyrat Danatarov and Didar Orazmedov from the Automobile Sports Federation won the Turkmenistan Rally Raid Championship in the T2 class off-road category.
The competition took place over two days in the Karakum Desert, across the Gökdepe and Baharden etraps of the Ahal velayat. The route covered 206 km.
The championship was attended by 12 crews representing teams from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Automobile Transport, and the Automobile Sports Federation.
Danatarova's crew finished in 2 hours, 21 minutes, and 36 seconds. Merdan Toilyev from the Ministry of Road Transport took second place (2 hours, 39 minutes, 48 seconds), and Suleyman Annamamedov from the Ministry of Internal Affairs took third (2 hours, 43 minutes, 27 seconds).
The tournament was organized by the Automobile Sports Federation to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality.
