A report on the work completed over the past eleven months was recently held in the central building of Turkmenistan's oil and gas complex, reports ussatnews.com.
Ashyrguly Begliyev, Advisor to the President of Turkmenistan on Oil and Gas Issues, also participated in the meeting.
During the meeting, the objectives set by the head of state for the industry were discussed and specific areas for further development of the complex were identified.
Deputy Prime Minister Batyr Amanov opened the meeting. State Minister and Chairman of the “Turkmengaz” State Concern Maksat Babayev, Chairman of the “Turkmennebit” State Concern Guvanch Agajanov, Chairman of the “Turkmengeologiya” State Corporation Gurbangeldy Garlyev, as well as the heads of the complex's associations, departments, and subordinate enterprises, presented progress reports.
The presentations highlighted the progress made in increasing oil, gas condensate, and liquefied gas production, accelerating operations at the “Galkynysh” gas field, continuing construction of the Serhetabat-Herat gas pipeline, and improving digitalization in the complex's operations. Issues related to ensuring the uninterrupted operation of production facilities during the winter, improving gas supplies to populated areas, accelerating construction, and expanding international cooperation were also discussed.
B. Amanov emphasized the importance of constant oversight of major oil and gas projects, the widespread adoption of modern technologies, the precise execution of planned work, and proper preparation for events marking upcoming holidays. The Deputy Prime Minister outlined the key tasks facing the state-owned concerns “Turkmengaz”, “Turkmennebit”, and the state corporation “Turkmengeologiya”, the source noted.
