During a meeting with Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Hojamyrat Geldimyradov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Kazakhstan Serik Zhumangarin stated that Kazakhstan is ready to accept Turkmen fruits and vegetables within the "green corridor." This was reported on the website of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.
Specifically, he said:
"We are interested in having fruit and vegetable products on our market. We are ready to accept everything you supply—tomatoes, fruits, vegetables—as part of the 'green corridor.'"
At the meeting, it was noted that the share of agricultural products in exports consistently exceeds 30%. Kazakhstan supplies wheat flour, sunflower oil, wheat, pasta, margarine, and tea concentrates.
Serik Zhumangarin proposed increasing supply volumes and expanding the range of agricultural products, including wheat, corn, lentils, peas, soybeans, sunflower oil, flour, sugar, and other products.
Imports from Turkmenistan include natural gas, fruits, and vegetables. This year, tomato shipments exceeded 30 thousand tons, becoming the second-largest import from Turkmenistan.

The source cites the following statistics: from January to September, trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan amounted to 363,6 million USD, which is 5,4% more than in the same period last year (345 million USD). Exports amounted to 221,7 million USD (up 6,8%), and imports amounted to 141,9 million USD (up 3,2%).
In 2024, trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan amounted to 555,7 million USD, including 335 million USD in exports and 220,7 million USD in imports.
