The Academy of State Service under the President of Turkmenistan held online courses on "Improving the Legal and Financial Literacy of Civil Servants." The event is part of a cooperation agreement with the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration. The cooperation agreement between the two academies provides for joint educational events, the development of curricula, and the organization of distance learning and training courses. Particular emphasis is placed on studying global best practices in public administration. According to the press service of the Turkmen Academy, the short-term professional development program is aimed at meeting the educational needs of civil servants in the area of financial and legal resources. Students and faculty of the Academy participate online.

The seminars were led by RANEPA instructors, focusing on a user-friendly presentation and training format. They covered key skills for modern managers, the development of emotional intelligence and innovative thinking in civil servants, and the role of financial literacy in sustainable development. These topics, as we know, are highly relevant; participants were able to gain a deeper understanding of the concept of sustainable development and its importance for territorial governance, as well as develop financial planning and resource management skills, which are critical for the effective allocation of budget funds. The knowledge gained in the webinars will enable civil servants to develop and implement strategic plans focused on the sustainable development of the region.
