The Turkmenistan National Acrobatic Gymnastics Team won eight bronze medals at the 14th Asian Championships, which concluded in Goa, India. This was reported by the press service of the Turkmenistan Gymnastics Federation.
The tournament was held under the auspices of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) and the Asian Gymnastics Union (AGU). A total of 173 athletes from six countries participated in the competition: China (Hong Kong), North Korea, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, India, and Turkmenistan.
Turkmenistan was represented by a four-member men's team in the 13-19 age group: Ishan Babayev, Danil Vasilyev, Azim Amanov, and Muhammet Ashyrov. The coaching staff was led by senior coach Roman Shevchukov, and also included vaulting coach Bayramguly Meledzhaev and choreographer Svetlana Gasparyan.

Turkmen acrobats took third place on the podium in all disciplines: balance, vaulting, and the all-around. "The athletes exceeded the expectations of their coaches and even themselves," the federation noted.
Following their performance, the athletes received an invitation to participate in the World Cup, which will be held in Baku from June 5-7, 2026.
