Within the framework of the international art exhibition "Spirit of the Great Steppe," held in Istanbul in memory of Chingiz Aitmatov, a ceremony honoring the new members of the Academy of Artists of the Turkic World was held. Among them were representatives from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Türkiye, and Uzbekistan, according to "Turkmenistan: Golden Age."
Sculptor Saragt Babayev, Hero of Turkmenistan, People's Artist of the country, two-time laureate of the International Magtymguly Prize, and honorary elder of the people, became a full member of the Academy.
The title of Corresponding Member was awarded to the artist Gahryman Gochmyradov, a member of the Union of Artists of Turkmenistan and a laureate of the President of Turkmenistan’s “Türkmeniň Altyn asyry” award.
