Specialists from the State Service "Turkmenhowayollary" and other aviation organizations in Turkmenistan have completed training under the international ICAO TRAINAIR PLUS program and received instructor certificates, the agency's press service reported.

From October 13 to 23, a Training Developer Course was held, attended by specialists from the “Turkmenhowayollary” State Service, Ashgabat International Airport, “Turkmenistan” Airlines, and staff from the Aviation Personnel Training School. The program aims to improve the qualifications of aviation specialists at the international level in accordance with ICAO standards.

From October 27 to 31, the second course—Training Instructor Course—was held for specialists of the “Turkmenhowayollary” State Service. Participants received international instructor certificates, entitling them to train both foreign civil aviation specialists and employees of Turkmenistan's aviation services.

The training courses were preceded by certification of the service's aviation personnel training school. From April 14 to 17, an assessment of the educational institution's standards was conducted with the participation of a foreign ICAO expert. Following the assessment, the school received Level 1 certification under the ICAO TRAINAIR PLUS program, allowing it to begin implementing international educational programs.
