The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Astana organized a conference at the M.S. Narikbayev Kazakhstan State Law University.
The conference focused on the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's declaration of permanent neutrality.
Representatives of the Parliament and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the diplomatic corps accredited in the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as scientists, cultural figures, teachers, and students from leading universities in Kazakhstan participated in the ceremony, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

In his speech, Ambassador of Turkmenistan B. Rejepov emphasized the historical significance of the proclamation of Turkmenistan's neutrality on December 12, 1995, enshrined in a UN General Assembly resolution, which demonstrated Turkmenistan's unwavering commitment to the ideals of peace and mutual respect.
Representatives of the Parliament and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan offered sincere congratulations. Particularly noteworthy were the speeches by the heads of diplomatic missions, who expressed deep respect for Turkmenistan and noted its contribution to strengthening regional peace and good-neighborliness.
The event also included an exhibition of Turkmen books and national products, a video presentation about Turkmenistan's achievements, and the performance of national Turkmen melodies.
