The international tax competition "TaxInTashkent 2025," which ran from October 28 to November 1, 2025, concluded in Tashkent. The event was organized by the Tashkent State University of Economics, in partnership with the Tax Committee of Uzbekistan and the Federal Tax Service of Russia.
Students from Uzbekistan and other countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States participated in the competition. The competition consisted of two stages: participants had to prepare official correspondence on behalf of taxpayers and tax authorities, and then present their work in the form of presentations.
The team from the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management took second place in the overall team competition. According to the organizers, the competition aims not only to develop students' professional competencies in taxation but also to strengthen international cooperation between educational institutions in the region.
