The State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan held the opening ceremony of master classes in miniature art and gold jewelry, taught by Iranian specialists. This was reported by the press service of the Cultural Center at the Iranian Embassy in Turkmenistan.
The ceremony was attended by Rustem Annamuhammedov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan, Abdolreza Abbasi, Cultural Advisor to the Iranian Embassy, and Iranian artists Seyedehsahar Hashemi, a specialist in miniature art, and Najmeh Hosseiniyan, a goldsmith.
The speakers noted the successful holding of similar master classes in 2024 and emphasized the development of cultural ties between the two countries. They also emphasized the need for regular similar events to strengthen cultural exchange between Turkmenistan and Iran.
The event featured an exhibition of works by Iranian specialists and Turkmen students who participated in last year's master classes. Guests and Iranian embassy staff also visited the academy's museum, where they viewed the students' work.
