On October 21–22, an OSCE thematic seminar on combating money laundering through virtual assets and blockchain-based technologies was held in Ashgabat. Representatives of government agencies, experts, and specialists in digital finance participated in the event.
Employees of the Ministry of Communications of Turkmenistan learned about international practices in regulating cryptocurrency transactions and strengthening financial security. Participants exchanged knowledge and practical approaches to digital transformation and the implementation of modern technologies in the financial sector.

The seminar served as a platform for discussing current trends in the development of virtual assets and the potential risks associated with their use in financial crimes.
