Russian companies are interested in expanding cooperation with Turkmenistan in the energy sector and are prepared to localize production of their products in the country. This was announced to journalists by company representatives on the sidelines of the international exhibition "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan 2025."
The VIP Scientific and Production Complex (Yekaterinburg) is ready to establish production of control and measuring instruments for energy companies in Turkmenistan.
"We arrived with control and measuring instruments, pressure sensors, and uninterruptible power supply systems. We manufacture all our products using the full production cycle and are ready to offer them to the Turkmen companies “Turkmennebit”, “Turkmengaz”, “Turkmenenergo”, and other interested companies," said Sergey Grishin, Commercial Director of VIP Scientific and Production Corporation.
According to him, the company sees potential in the Turkmen market and is ready to localize production of its products in the country. "Our products have a modular design, so localization of production can be quickly organized," he explained.
Grishin noted that VIP Scientific and Production Corporation supplies products to Rosneft, Gazprom, Tatneft, and other energy companies. "We work with Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Belarus, and also supply to China," the commercial director added.
The Kushva Pipe Plant trading house (Sverdlovsk region) is also showing interest in the Turkmen market. "We manufacture and sell drill pipes and tubing. We export, particularly to Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. This is our first time in Turkmenistan, and we're looking to enter the Turkmen market," said company director Evgeny Muravyov.
The International Conference and Exhibition "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan 2025" is taking place in Ashgabat from October 22–24. Delegates and companies from 70 countries, local energy industry enterprises, relevant ministries and agencies of Turkmenistan, and international organizations are participating in the event.
