Within the framework of a visit to the United States, a delegation from Turkmenistan, consisting of representatives from the education sector, visited Montana State University in Billings to expand practical cooperation.
During the visit, meetings with university leadership and a tour of the faculties took place, the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan told Turkmenportal.
The parties planned to launch joint short-term courses on data analytics, financial literacy, and project management, using real-world case studies with regional companies. A teacher exchange for practical training was also discussed.
The idea of jointly using the Canvas LMS educational portal of Montana State University as a single platform for collaborative teaching, course templates, and monitoring of material mastery was supported.
Turkmenistan's Deputy Minister of Education, A. Atayev, presented an overview of the country's achievements in education. He noted the updating of programs in line with international quality standards, the development of digital education and modern facilities, increased research activity, and the participation of universities in international rankings.
