National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty (People's Council) Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working visit to the city of Arkadag, where he inspected the construction of new facilities and preparations for a nationwide greening campaign, according to the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
During his visit, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited the site of the traditional nationwide greening campaign in the smart city. Priority is given to evergreen tree seedlings adapted to local soil and climate conditions.
The Chairman of the State Committee for Construction of the city of Arkadag, D. Orazov, and the city's mayor, G. Mammedova, reported on the city's readiness for the greening campaign. Within the framework of the upcoming campaign, it is planned to plant Turkmen juniper saplings grown by local specialists. Having approved the first juniper planting in the new city, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov provided recommendations for organizing the subsequent care of the saplings in accordance with agricultural standards.
The National Leader then inspected the construction of the medical cluster facilities. He emphasized that the primary requirement for the construction of the industrial complex remains the quality of work and materials used. Particular attention was paid to the proper disposal of industrial waste and the organization of processes that do not impact the lives of city residents.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov then inspected the designs for the second phase of construction, including the building for the Road Police Inspection Service, the Vehicle Technical Condition and Registration Service, and the interior design for the museum under construction.
