Representatives of Turkmenistan took part in the closing ceremony of the World Expo 2025 in Osaka.
The ceremony was attended by members of the Japanese imperial family, representatives of the Japanese government, the World Expo 2025 Association, the Osaka Prefectural Administration, and a number of high-ranking guests from various countries, the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reported.
The Turkmen delegation was headed by the Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations N. Agakhanov.
Minister of Japan for Expo 2025 I. Yoshitaka, Chairman of the Association of World Expos 2025 T. Masakazu, and Governor of Osaka Prefecture H. Yoshimura noted that Expo 2025 has transformed Osaka into a popular tourist destination.
Cultural figures played a prominent role in the event.
Following the closing ceremony, the World Expo flag was lowered and handed over to the delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as Riyadh will host Expo 2030.
As a reminder, the National Pavilion of Turkmenistan became one of the notable sites of EXPO 2025 in Osaka, attracting the attention of numerous visitors.
