On Monday in Ashgabat, the education departments of Turkmenistan and Russia signed an action plan for developing cooperation for 2025-2026.
Following the meeting of the intergovernmental commission, the document was signed by Turkmenistan's Minister of Education, Jumamurad Gurbangeldiev, and State Secretary and Deputy Minister of Education of the Russian Federation, Andrei Korneev.
Furthermore, following the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation held in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan and Russia signed a number of other bilateral documents in the areas of exchange trade, horse breeding, agriculture, and other areas.
On Monday, the 13th meeting of the Turkmen-Russian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation took place in Ashgabat. The commission is chaired on the Turkmen side by Deputy Prime Minister Nokerguly Atagulyev. The Russian co-chair is Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.
