The second Turkmenistan-UAE business forum was held in Sharjah, UAE, attended by a delegation from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, led by Chairman Mergen Gurdov. The event included an exhibition of Turkmen products, including food products, textiles, and construction materials.
The forum was jointly organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) with the support of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the UAE and the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Mergen Gurdov, head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, noted in his speech that constructive dialogue at the highest political level is contributing to the active development of trade and economic ties between Turkmenistan and the UAE. He emphasized that Turkmenistan is consistently pursuing a policy of economic diversification and actively attracting foreign investment, creating favorable conditions for business.
Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, in turn, expressed the Emirati side's readiness to assist Turkmen companies interested in collaborating with local business circles and expanding their presence in regional markets.
Turkmen entrepreneurs presented a number of projects reflecting the national economic potential in areas such as industry, agriculture, energy, and logistics.

During the forum, bilateral meetings were held between representatives of the two countries' private sectors.
The Turkmen delegation also visited Sharjah's permanent industrial exhibition, where they learned about the activities of local enterprises and current trends in the UAE's manufacturing sector, the source noted.
