Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov invited the heads of state of the Commonwealth of Independent States to participate in celebrations marking the 30th anniversary of the country's permanent neutrality, which will be held in Ashgabat on December 12, 2025, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
"This year, Turkmenistan is celebrating a historic event – the 30th anniversary of our country's permanent neutrality. CIS countries were at the forefront of its international recognition and actively promoted it at the UN and other international organizations and forums," the head of state noted.
He emphasized that the participation of the heads of state of the Commonwealth in the anniversary celebrations and the International Forum for Peace and Trust “will be an important contribution to their success and will be highly appreciated by the people of Turkmenistan.”
