Today, in honor of Healthcare and Medical Industry Workers' Day, a groundbreaking ceremony for a 500-bed multidisciplinary hospital was held in Ashgabat, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.

The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by the Speaker of the Mejlis, members of the Government, heads of ministries and agencies, as well as numerous foreign guests and healthcare workers.

The ceremony featured vibrant performances by musical and dance groups.

During the event, a special box with a commemorative inscription was laid in the foundation of the future hospital, officially marking the start of construction.

The hospital will incorporate the most advanced technologies in modern medicine, the source notes.
