Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree awarding state awards to healthcare and medical industry workers on the occasion of their professional holiday, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.

The decree notes that developing the national healthcare system and medical industry is a priority area of state policy. The awards were presented for significant contributions to public health, the implementation of effective methods for disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment, as well as for long-term conscientious work and high levels of professionalism.
